In a bid to serve the people, governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo state, Mr. Seyi Makinde says his administration will not abandon any ongoing project of the present government in the state if given the mantle of leadership.
He stated this at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Oyo, while answering questions from members of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, in continuation of the party’s campaign tour to Oyo East/West and Atiba Local Governments.
Mr. Makinde who explained that he was in the governorship race for good governance, said he would complete ongoing projects embarked upon by the outgoing government if voted into power.
“When you take over a company, it should be with both assets and liabilities, since posterity will judge whatever anyone does, we will complete the ongoing and abandoned projects in the state”.
The PDP governorship candidate equally promised that his government would complete projects initiated by his administration within four years in office.
Mr. Makinde however urged the electorate to shun vote buying and elect credible leaders ready to serve the people, rather than those who are in the race for their own selfish interest.
